September 12 · 11 AM–1 PM
Understand how everyday food choices, movement, strength training, and long periods of sitting affect blood sugar and diabetes risk.
Health information, clinic visits and one-time workshops matter. But lasting change usually needs routine: a place to train, food skills that fit real life, support when questions come up and a way to track progress.
PSS builds that routine.
HOW PSS WORKS
PSS programs pair clear education with repeated action. Participants practice strength, food and health habits, receive support when questions come up and track what changes over time.
THE PROGRAM FLOW
1. Join. Enroll directly or come through a partner.
2. Practice. Follow a defined routine through coaching, videos, workshops or in-person sessions.
3. Measure. Track attendance, habits, confidence, strength and health follow-through.
4. Continue. Leave with a realistic next step.
PSS PROGRAMS
The purpose is simple: help people practice strength, food and health habits often enough to create real change.
WOMEN-CENTERED STRENGTH + HEALTH
Women complete a consistent small-group strength routine, practical food and health education, Ask a Nurse sessions and simple progress tracking.
The goal is greater strength, confidence and a plan to keep training after the program ends.
VIDEO + COOKING + HABIT INTERVENTION
Short video chapters, cooking demonstrations and guided habit practice for adults with prediabetes, type 2 diabetes or anyone who wants healthier everyday food habits.
Participants learn how food, movement and strength affect blood sugar, then track what they actually change.
