PSS Pilates practice follows modern/contemporary Reformer exercise which is expertly-accepted as more beneficial and safe than traditional BUT breaks away from the archaic by allowing you more freedom to grow.

We love PROGRESSION because we know YOU LOVE it too. Seeing your efforts build mobility and strength over time means, you get to do more of the fun moves we all love with precision and practice.

Here. we teach all the Reformer moves, not just 8, via progression.

Steady flows are breath, control, and core based instead of intense-based. Our goals include (are not limited to): progression, movement and mobility.

Beginners are taught neutral alignment straight away and taught the three main ways to learn body awareness and Reformer:

  1. Listen to cues
  2. Attune to proprioception (spatial awareness)
  3. Look: seek others’ visual model

and flows are modified or varied for skill levels.

Advanced practitioners are encouraged to explore the Reformer ranges with the library of dozens of Reformer exercises we use each week. Small class size is perfect for you get a real FEEL for how moves should help you move rather than hold you back from performance due to huge class size concerns. Choose from 5 Reformers.

Based on the overall skill level for the meeting, class is modified to challenge beginners without making you feel discouraged or forced into “perfect” alignment while advanced variations allow for a constant challenge via tempo change, breathwork shifts and more.
